Please note the following in light of the ever-changing situation in Hong Kong with the Coronavirus rules and regulations.

The following guidance on events (specifically weddings) is designed to help keep you and those around you safe, so we respectfully ask you to follow this guidance if you can.

As a minimum Kandid Productions Limited - “Justin Lim Photography” would expect:

  • The couple to be double vaccinated;

  • The majority of guests (if not all guests) to be vaccinated;

  • An event or wedding to be booked in a venue that is respectful of current guidelines.

In advance of your shoot, we will ask you to let us know about any particular requirements or adaptations that you need, so we can consider whether we are still able to execute a high-quality shoot in such conditions. Please ensure that you let us know so we can take this into account when planning the shoot.

In the case of wedding events, please note that as per the main terms and conditions of the booking and contract, any advance booking fee is non-refundable. This is in line with event standards in Hong Kong. However (without prejudice), given the exceptional circumstances and as a gesture of goodwill, upon reasonable notice of 48 hours or more, Justin Lim Photography will consider a partial refund and retain part of the advance fee as credit for another shoot (such as a family shoot) if you are forced to postpone your date due to an unexpected change in the government rules and regulations. This is entirely at Justin Lim Photography’s discretion taking into account any sudden change in the government’s guidance and the circumstances of your own booking.

Notice of any change to your event should be given to Justin via his WhatsApp or justin@thekandid.com.

Justin Lim Photography reserves the right to cancel a booking or any associated function at its sole discretion if the government guidelines make the shooting of an event too difficult to render high quality imagery. This right is also reserved in the case of events that are continually postponed to take them more than 6 months beyond the initial event date. In the event of such you will be contacted as to arrangements in terms of credit for another shoot (if any). Justin Lim Photography expressly excludes any liability for any direct or indirect losses or damages howsoever arising as a result of such cancellation and will not, for example, be responsible for any costs incurred for the photographer’s travel and/or accommodation.

Thank you!

Stay healthy,

Justin
